Self Storage Owners Switch to Web Edition of Site Link

Have you ever purchased a software program and were stumped at how to use it? Many times the user manual is not well written and is confusing to understand. So when a software company holds a user conference, users are very eager to attend so they can learn as much as possible about the program. And, sometimes those conferences have unexpected consequences for the software company

SiteLink, a self storage management software, recently held its second-annual user conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. Almost 400 people attended. The conference had 10 sessions in 2 educational tracks.

“The User Conference was unlike any other industry event,” said Bruce Stainbrook of StorageLink. “Access to nearly 400 SiteLink team members, technology partners, owners and operators made the conference invaluable. We are ecstatic that we have just converted three facilities over to SiteLink Web Edition so seamlessly.”

Operators like Anne Ballard of the Universal Storage Group, John Manes of The Jenkins Organization, and Peter Spickenagel of Storage Pros Management explained how SiteLink can help users cut costs and grow profits.

SiteLink has revenue management tools and powerful reporting features. It also has a customer relation management module, and e-mail and text messaging. Those who use SiteLink are free to select their own web designer and credit card processor. One of the best features is that SiteLink does not bundle services. They give users many choices and options.

Customers also have many choices. They can make online payments, view their payment histories, set up automatic billing, make reservations, and change their contact profile.

Since the conference, many of the attendees switched to using the Web Edition of the program. (That was the unexpected benefit from the conference.) Attendees like the new version of the web-based software. It is faster, ‘smarter,’ and more secure than the previous version. The program is also scalable and works well whether a self storage owner has one facility or one hundred.

“Everyone understands the freedom to choose technology partners that fully integrate with Web Edition,” said Markus Hecker, SiteLink’s COO. “The conference illustrated once more how Web Edition lowers the cost of ownership. Owners are not forced to use a specific tenant insurance provider or credit card processor.”

SiteLink has more than 6,500 installations worldwide and is one of the self storage industry’s most popular software program. The program integrates with smart phones, websites, listing services, INSOMNIAC KIOSKS, and central mail providers. More than 70 of the top 100 self storage operators use SiteLink’s Web Edition.
