Self Storage News in Texas
Folks in Anchorage, Alaska, don’t use them. And probably not those in Seattle, Washington, either. But people and businesses in Tucson, Arizona, the Florida Keys, and in San Antonio, Texas, certainly do.  And just what is “it” that they use in those areas around the country? Solar panels!

Installing solar panels for residential homes or for businesses is a way to reduce your carbon footprint and to be more energy efficient. Just ask the owners of A-AAA Mini Storage owners in San Antonio, Texas.

Nine of the A-AAA Mini Storage locations are installing solar panels as a way to reduce their company’s electrical cost. Once the systems are in and working, the owners of A-AAA Mini Storage estimate that the solar panels will generate 1 million kilowatt hours of electricity. They believe that this amount of electricity will cover about 55 percent of the electricity that is used in these nine facilities.

Self Reliant Solar is the company installing the solar panels. They figure that when a commercial business installs a solar system that the system will repay itself within five years.
