A goal for many companies is to be able to expand someday. Being able to do so is a testament to the hard work and the quality of the product that has been turned out so far. When you are able to continue to expand to more and more places; getting further and further from the home office you know you are doing something right.
So what does it mean when your company expands to a point where there is an office on each end of the country? Business must be better than just good or the company must be confident on how well the company is going to be accepted in its new area.
Which scenario fits for Door to Door Storage is not known, but something must be going right for the mobile self storage company. It recently opened up a new facility on the East Coast in Albany, New York, and another way over on the Pacific Ocean side of the country in Honolulu, Hawaii.
“Door to Door is excited to announce our first moving and storage facility in the Aloha State, and the latest location in New York to further expand our footprint in that area,” said Tracey Kelly, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Door to Door Storage.
Door to Door opened its doors for the first time in 1996 and in the time since has helped over a quarter of a million people and families meet their storage and moving needs. It is currently headquartered in Kent, Washinton and ha facilities in 61 markets across the counry.
“Since opening our Doors in 1996, Door to Door has helped more than a quarter million individuals and families with their moving and storage needs. Call us and let us show you why customers rate Door to Door number one in exceptional value and customer service,” said Kelly.
Like most self storage companies, Door to Door is no stranger to holding contests in order to engage their tenants as well as prospective tenants. Just this past summer, it sponsored what it called the “Great American Road Trip.” Interested parties could take a picture while on a road d trip. They could then submit it to the company’s Facebook page with a description of no more than 500 words.
The winner had the choice of either $1000 or a free two storage container move.
