Gone are the cobwebs, ghosts, jack o’ lanterns, and black cats. There may still be some candy left, but for the most part Halloween is over and done with. While the nation prepares to give thanks in a few weeks there are many that are already preparing for the holiday that comes next (Christmas)—retailers and charities.
As usual, there are many members of the self storage industry happy to get involved with local charities. Every holiday season millions of people like to do something to help those less fortunate. There is just something that makes people want to help others have a happy holiday.

“A-1 Self Storage is always proud to participate in the Toys for Tots Annual Holiday Toy Drive each year. This year marks our fourth anniversary of toy collections. The company will aim to do better this season than they did last season. From the 40 self storage facilities under the A-1 umbrella there were over 2000 new and unused toys collected and later redistributed to kids in and around the areas served by the facilities.
They are not the only ones involved of course. San Diego Self Storage has made it a practice to get involved with Toys for Tots every holiday season as well.
According to SDSS Managing Partner, J. Terry Aston, “This year marks the 15th consecutive year that SDSS is participating in the Toys for Tots collection drive and with 18 facilities throughout San Diego County, it’s convenient for families to drop off toys…
