Self Storage Company Continues to Give Sports Teams a Sporting Chance

There are few things that can bring joy to the faces of the young and old alike quite like sports can. For kids playing on an organized sports team the thrill of victory experienced with your friends can create life time of memories. The trouble with youth sports though is that they do cost money for the kids to play and for the leagues to operate.

So it’s a good thing that there are companies like SmartStop Self Storage that are willing to step in and help out.

For the last few years the baseball team at San Juan Hills High School in San Juan Capistrano, California, has been working on a scoreboard. Thanks to a generous donation— from the good people at SmartStop Self Storage the project will now be able to go forward.

The baseball team’s Coach JeremyWooten had this to say, “It is very exciting to see our facility beginning to take shape.  The addition of this professional scoreboard will take us one step closer to our facility goal.  I am sure that all people involved in the SJH Baseball program will be very proud of the facility that is being created.”

SmartStop was more than happy to lend the school’s baseball team a helping hand.

“We are honored to be able to contribute to this amazing school and athletics department,” Schwartz said. “Our goal is to help the local community build quality amenities for students, athletes and parents. A new scoreboard can make a huge difference in team spirit.”

SmartStop Self Storage is not the only self storage facility that likes to get involved in helping out local sports teams. For example, Secure Self Storage in Mississauga, New York, decided it wanted to sponsor a local fastball team, the Lumberjacks of the Mississauga Sportsman Fastball League..

“On behalf of the Lumberjacks, we are very grateful for the sponsorship and support that Secure Self Storage in North York provided. They really look out for supporting our community. Our team sincerely appreciates the help provided by Secure Self Storage during the 2013 season and it is clear that the impact of their sponsorship had a very positive impact on the performance of our team,” said the team’s head coach Kyle Scott.
