Jerry Maguire said that we live in a cynical world, but in reality it is a digital one. Just about everything these days operates with electronics or has a presence on the World Wide Web. In fact, if you are looking for something—information, movies times, a self storage facility, etc.—it can be found on the internet. The only trick is figuring out how to find it.

A successful search is all about choosing the right term to search for. The problem with that is in figuring out what the right term is. If people are not sure they often start by searching for fairly general terms in hopes of actually finding what they want or figuring out how to narrow their search as they go.

Getting found in a search is all about having the right name, one that will come up whether someone is conducting a general search or one that is more specific. A popular self storage aggregator has recently taken these concepts and put them into practice to increase its exposure.

USSelfStorageLocator.com has taken some common terms people may use when they are trying to find self storage sites online and created two new search engines—BookSelfStorage.com and SelfStorageOnline.com.

“Storage customers are encouraged to find a storage facility at a location that is convenient for them and to book a storage unit at the price and special offered, before they lose it,” said Victor Dante, CEO and Founder of USSelfStorageLocator.com.

The home site’s clients will be listed there as well as the two new sites giving them much more exposure to interested clients.

People can go to either of the three previously mentioned sites in search of self-storage facilities all over the country, but there are some aggregator sites that are geared to specific areas. Those have used the same principle as USSelfStorageLocator.com by naming their site after a common phrase people searching for self storage in their would use.

For example, those in or moving to the Bethesda, Maryland area can find and reserve a self storage unit by searching for ‘Bethesda Storage’ which will give them BethesdaStorage.com. People in the Phoenix area can do the same thing by searcheing for ‘Phoenix Storage’ or ‘Phoenix Self Storage.’ Should they want to be even more specific—say with ‘Cheap Phoenix Self Storage’ they will get CheapPhoenixSelfStorage.com.
