A while back, a friend told me about an award that one of his co-workers received at his place of work. Management gave the person a leadership award and extolled him as a great leader. However, the rank and file workers who worked underneath him had a different perspective. None felt that he was a good leader. They all thought the award was ludicrous. To them, it was laughable that the fellow even received the leadership award.

Inside Self Storage (ISS) announced that Extra Space Storage has been voted as the 2013 Best Third-Party Management Company. This is the second year in a row that they have earned this coveted award.

The online poll allows industry professionals to vote in various categories such as best builder, best management software, best customer service, and the most innovative product. ISS publishes the winners’ profiles in their ISS magazine in addition honoring the winners at their World Expo in Las Vegas.
